I was trying to explain why I didn’t have older homework assignments turned in to my teacher this afternoon
but she doesn’t seem to understand that when I miss school a lot I miss more than just that class I miss every class
and every class has lots of homework
and when I get back to school after missing a day or two (which happens quite often, unfortunately) my first priority is...

When a woman can no longer control her own reproductive system because of someone else’s religious beliefs, it is no longer freedom of religion. It is the infringement of religion onto human freedom.
This should read “When a person”, but it is so spot on. For a country that touts “separation of church and state”, we have some serious issues holding to that ideology.
